A Medicine Woman's Prayer

I will not rescue you,
For you are not powerless.
I will not fix you,
For you are not broken.
I will not heal you,
For I see you in your wholeness.
I will walk with you through the darkness,
As you remember your light.

-Sheree Bliss Tilsley

Hello! I’m Brandie and I guide women into embodied heart-centered living.

As a Registered Nurse, Board Certified Nurse Coach, Bodyworker, trauma survivor, and single mom of two girls, I know what it’s like to feel anxious, overwhelmed, and out of balance. I know what it’s like to give my power away and to feel lost and confused. I’ve also discovered the freedom that comes from owning my story, my body, my healing, living intentionally and choosing joy.

I have specialized training in an emerging integrative healthcare paradigm that empowers you to be the owner of your health. Using the holistic healing tools of mindfulness, nourishment, rest, movement, and boundaries, you can heal your body and your life.

As a coach and guide, I see you as a whole person, not a diagnosis or a problem to be fixed. I honor your unique story and needs and I listen more than I speak. I hold you lovingly accountable for what you want for your health and your life so you can move from knowing (and wondering) about wellness to embodying and living it.

The best way to discover if we’re a good fit to work together is on a brief call.

Let’s connect to see how I can support you on your healing journey.

My Philosophy

Wellness is not about being perfect.

In my own life, I’ve discovered that pursuing perfection is a waste of time and energy and usually leaves me feeling depressed, anxious and unfulfilled.

As Anne Lamott says, “Perfection is the voice of the oppressor.” Instead, I guide you to your own clarity about who you are and what you need. In our work together, you’ll move through fear, claim what you need, and take ownership of your health and your life in a sustainable way that feels really good.

I believe wellness begins with our belief system and involves the foods we eat, the way we move our bodies, how we manage stress, the products we consume, the work we do, and the quality of our relationships. When we make choices that are nourishing to ourselves, we are better able to care for our families.

What is Well Woman Coaching?

Well Woman Coaching is a co-creative partnership focused on you. We begin right where you are. Maybe you know the missing pieces in your health puzzle or what you want to work on. Maybe you just know something needs to change.

We’ll take a deep dive to get a full picture of your health story and challenges. And together we’ll co-create a plan to guide you towards your most vital self in this season of life. I offer my vetted resources and guidance in a highly personalized, playful coaching relationship.

We’ll use effective healing tools such as mindfulness and body awareness practices to support you in creating your version of health and well-being. Working together over a period of time offers the benefit of moving through the inevitable challenges that get in the way of creating new habits and reclaiming your well-being.

“Brandie has an amazing intuition that makes her coaching truly meaningful in a way I haven’t found from other practitioners. She has made such a difference in my life.” — N.T.

Our Process

I follow a holistic nursing process as a guide through our work together. It is non-linear and cyclical, just like us.

What women say about our work together

“Brandie is a healer, emotionally and physically.” — Megan Carling

“I have gained a renewed energy toward my whole-woman wellness. By shining a light on my excuses and unhealthy habits, I am now ready to take responsibility for meeting my own needs. I have learned that self-compassion is a key component to my mental and emotional well-being, that self-care is a lot more (and sometimes a lot less) than I originally believed, and that I can become a better mama through play!” — Jodie Gonzales

Not only was I gifted with a number of books and resources to turn to after our coaching program ended, I also gained specific tools and ideas to help me engage with my creativity daily while still being present in the rest of my life.— Ashley S.

“I was facing a number of challenges in my life, including dealing with the grief over the loss of a parent, trying to decide how to find meaningful work outside the home and working through difficulties with a high-intensity child. Brandie helped me get in touch with my inner strength and leadership skills and make positive steps on my own behalf and on behalf of my family. Brandie is an amazingly intuitive coach. She seems to just sense the true nature of your struggle even if you don’t have the words to describe it. She offers gentle guidance that is usually right on the mark for the direction you need to take. She is a wealth of knowledge about integrative medicine and self-care. As a result of our coaching, I have uncovered my inner strength and leadership and was able to stop using anti-depressants to control fear and anxiety.” — N. Thomas

“As a wife, mother of three young children, and small business owner, the level of stress I feel can be overwhelming. My coaching sessions help me clarify the current issue, focus on facing it in a healthy way and move forward with an intention. Brandie is able to help me focus on an issue or struggle in my life, label it, and set an intention. My husband sees how our entire family benefits! ” — Nancy C.

“When I’ve been in therapy in the past, it’s good to have someone hear your feelings and there’s some clarity that comes with it, but nothing as quickly as when I was coached with you. That clarity has come much quicker and more easily. And it comes from me- it’s you bringing it out of me. For me, it’s been so helpful, so thank you.” — Laura M.

“I’ve come to realize that my mood changes, and that is totally okay; it is also beneficial to adapt my choices depending on my mood (not pushing myself too hard on rough days, adjusting my expectations based on my mood/energy). Through the Collective, I have gained support, learned how to embrace my whole self and also discovered how to thrive.” — Carley F.

You already know what it’s like to do this on your own.
