Hello! I’m Brandie and it’s been my life path to support women and families with practical, holistic tools for health and well-being.
After working with hundreds of women as a Registered Nurse, Women's Wellness Coach and Bodyworker, I know this- we are not meant to do life alone. In fact, we are made for connection and belonging.
We can survive in isolation, but we thrive in connection and community.
Wellness is not about being perfect.
In my own life, I’ve discovered that pursuing perfection is a waste of time and energy and always leaves me feeling drained and unfulfilled.
As Anne Lamott says, “Perfection is the voice of the oppressor.” Instead, we can embrace our imperfections as opportunities for growth as we step into more ownership of our health and our lives.
What women are saying
“When I started in the Well Woman guidance group in May, I was working a stressful job in nursing management and my home was not a place of freedom, joy, or peace. Brandie introduced us to the Resource Assessment where we listed the energy givers and takers in our lives. She provided us with journaling prompts and group coaching in which her quiet presence let me slow down, explore, and listen to myself. I came to the conclusion that my job wasn’t serving me or my family. I felt supported in the decision to leave my job as a way to reclaim my power over my life and to take aligned action to create a home of freedom, play, attention, and love. I am now spending the summer fully present in my children’s lives. I get to experience their joy and a-ha! moments, and be interactive and playful with them. I also now enjoy quiet moments to myself in the mornings - nourishing myself, connecting with my soul, and taking ownership of my life.” -Leslie O.
“Brandie has an incredible way of asking the right (often tough) questions and encouraging insights that would be impossible on my own. Her down-to-earth personality and experience are a perfect combination to create safety and trust. As a result of this program, I have made lifestyle changes and recognized habits that may be increasing my symptoms. I’ve realized I don’t have to just accept my migraines as “part of life” and I can take more control of my medical care by accessing new resources.”
- Jodie G.
“As a single mom to a daughter with special needs, I have experienced the isolation and struggles that come with raising a child with special needs. It has been hard to prioritize myself consistently. This program helped me to be more aware of times in my life when I have not had as much grace with myself and helped me realize how not allowing that grace actually drains my energy. I have learned some skills such as tapping (EFT) to help me manage and overcome emotional roadblocks as they come up. I am learning to eat with more intention, and how to set boundaries in my family. The feeling of support in a non-judgmental environment is so conducive to allowing me to be more vulnerable and allowing me more access into areas of my life where I can benefit from positive change and growth.”
- Laura M.
“Before I joined this program through Steel Magnolia Moms, I was experiencing constant chaos and feeling chronically overwhelmed. Well Woman Co. gave me the space and tools to learn how to carve out space and time for ME and that it's ok to tell my kids that I need a minute! Brandie is so generous and down-to-earth and extremely approachable. I would recommend this program to all of my special needs mommy friends especially!” - Viviana P.
