Wellness Coaching is a partnership to navigate the gap between where you are and where you want to be. Together we’ll discover and embrace your very best in your body and life in this moment- this very real, often messy, totally incredible moment.

Wellness Coaching is not a prescribed regimen of “do this, don’t do that.”  It’s not rules, restrictions, judgement, shame, or rigid living.

Coaching is about self-discovery, connection, and gaining the skills to navigate family life with greater ease and focused energy. It’s about making connections between your environment and it’s impact on your health and well-being.  Wellness Coaching is support in navigating the healthiest products for your home and family. It’s about supporting and enhancing your body’s ability to detoxify naturally with food and relaxation practices. It’s about embracing your vulnerabilities to move towards the healthy life you want for yourself and your family. It’s about living well.

What happens in a coaching session?

We will begin right where you are.  Maybe you know what you want to work on. Maybe you just know something needs to change.  Either way, we’ll begin with a Discovery Session to get clear on what you want and where we’re headed.

Together we will create a Wellness Plan to guide you towards your healthiest life in this moment.  We’ll use effective tools such as visualization, body awareness, and mindfulness practices to support our work together. With Ongoing Support we’ll work together through the inevitable challenges that get in the way of creating new habits and reclaiming your wellbeing.  And we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.

Before I started this program, I had a new baby and a 3-year-old, as well as a husband who travels quite a bit, both for work and recreation. I most enjoyed being able to be completely open and honest without fear of judgment. I feel that I am in a better place both emotionally and physically. I accepted responsibility for speaking up and taking an active role in my road back to a healthy body, as well as the need for emotional and spiritual recharging.
I always leave our sessions feeling physically and mentally so much better and arrive home a happy, present wife and mother. There is no greater desire for me in this hectic, stressful world we live in than to be a happy and engaged wife and mother.
When I started working with Jala, I was staying at home with a 1 and 4 year old during the days. Feeling very low energy, making bad diet choices, and had low motivation to change anything about it. Since our sessions started I have felt the encouragement to do a 10-day sugar detox (also did no gluten or dairy) that reset my diet habits. This change has had a domino affect on several things since then. My energy is drastically better, and I gained the motivation to join a group of friends to train for a triathlon sprint in the Fall. I feel like my overall wellbeing has improved beyond my expectations.
